Privacy policy

This policy explains what personal data Nordmould collects when you contact us or request a quote, why we collect it, and the rights you have under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

Who is responsible for your data

Nordmould is the data controller for the information you submit through this website and by email. For any privacy question, or to exercise the rights described below, contact us at [email protected].

What we collect

We only collect the data you choose to give us:

  • Enquiry and quote data — your name, email address, company name, and the project details, quantities, materials and CAD or PDF files you attach to a quote request.
  • Email correspondence — the content of messages you send us and our replies.

To understand how the site is used and improve it, we use PostHog — a product-analytics tool self-hosted on Nordmould's own infrastructure within the EU. It records page views and on-site interactions such as quote-form submissions. Because PostHog is self-hosted, this usage data stays with us and is never shared with an advertising network or other third party. We do not use advertising or ad-tracking cookies.

Why we use it

We process this data for one purpose: to respond to your enquiry, prepare a manufacturability review and quotation, and — if you proceed — to manage your moulding project. The legal basis is your request to take steps prior to entering a contract, and our legitimate interest in answering business enquiries.

We do not sell your data, and we do not use it for unrelated marketing.

Who processes it on our behalf

To run the website and communicate with you, we rely on a small number of service providers who act as data processors:

  • Hosting and content delivery — our server host and Cloudflare, which delivers the site and protects it from abuse.
  • Email delivery — Resend, which transmits quote-request notifications to our inbox.

These providers process data only to deliver their service, under their own data-protection commitments.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiry data for as long as needed to handle your request and any resulting project, and for a reasonable period afterwards to meet legal and accounting obligations. CAD files and drawings are retained only as long as they are needed for your project, or until you ask us to delete them.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you may request access to the data we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, object to or restrict its processing, or request a copy in a portable format. To exercise any of these rights, email [email protected]. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your national data-protection authority.

Confidentiality of your designs

We treat the CAD files, drawings and specifications you share as confidential. They are used solely to quote and produce your parts, and are shared with a manufacturing partner only under a confidentiality obligation. We are happy to sign a mutual NDA before you send sensitive files.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as our services evolve. The date below shows when it was last reviewed.
